Responsibilities

1. Assist senior analysts with in-depth fundamental research on coverage companies and industries spanning the AI, Technology and Biotechnology sectors.
2. Collect, organize, and analyze financial data, industry reports, and market information to support investment decisions.
3. Build and maintain financial models, databases, and analytical tools.
4. Monitor industry news, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics relevant to portfolio companies.
5. Prepare research notes, presentations, and briefing materials for the investment team.
6. Conduct data-driven analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable investment insights.

  Requirements

1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a reputable institution.
2. Strong interest in equity markets, technology industries, and investment research.
3. Solid analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
4. Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into clear, concise summaries.
5. Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
6. A good command of English. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
7. Prior internship experience in equity research, investment banking, or asset management is a plus.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct in-depth fundamental research on coverage companies and industries spanning the AI, Technology and Biotechnology industries to support investment decisions.
2. Analyze the financial status, and market opportunities of companies
3. Apply medical, scientific, and analytical expertise to generate high-conviction stock investment ideas, and work with other members of the research team to identify actionable ideas across various geographical markets and/or sectors.
4. Build and maintain detailed financial and valuation models.
5. Report findings and research work to the management and execute plans to analytically solve open-ended research questions.
6. Distil large amounts of information into an investable thesis.

  Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution. An advanced scientific degree (PhD, Master’s Degree) a distinct advantage. CFA Charterholders is a plus.
2. Prior experience in Big Tech firms is a plus.
3. Strong familiarity with the AI, Technology and Biotechnology industries, gained through experience in equity research, investment banking or consulting.
4. Passion for the equity market and investment portfolio research.
5. Excellent financial modelling, numerical and analytical skills. Aptitude for creative quantitative work involving financial and economic data.
6. In-depth understanding of financial statements and equity valuation methodologies.
7. A self-starter who can multi-task, prioritize and organize time effectively in a fast-paced environment in the pursuit of excellence.
8. Strong work ethic and detail oriented.
9. A good command of English.
10. Proficiency in one other language like Mandarin is an advantage.
